Hands-free tank cap The hands-free system enables the engine to be started and the tank cap to be opened without having to take the inserted key out of your clothing or take off your gloves. So the opening is done in a flash. The Hands Free fuel filler cap unlocks automatically when the engine is switched off and, if no refueling procedure is required, it is locked after 60 seconds or when the engine is restarted.
